Summary: "Fun Way to Relax and Pass the Time"
Not so easy that they are boring, and not so hard that they are out of reach. Just an engaging way to pass a quiet hour in the afternoon. I really like that there are 200 puzzles - this book has lasted me 6 months.

Summary: "Enjoyable"
I bought this as a gift to a friend that is in prison and he enjoys it. It passes the time and he works on the puzzles with fellow inmates. I will be purchasing similar books for him in the future.

Summary: "Isn't spiral-bound...beware"
I bought this for my Mom (77 y/o and fairly smart). She always complains that she can't find crossword puzzle books that are 'easy enough' for her 'to do'. Yet again, this one proved 'too hard'.
I, however, think this book is just fine. Puzzlers may find that the binding is a pain in the butt, though. Spiral-bound puzzle books are best. Look for those if you can find them.

Summary: "USA Today crossword puzzle book"
Very nice book, but a little disappointing. I've been used to a 8" X 10" sized USA Crossword puzzle book and looked forward to doing a puzzle each night. The puzzles are just my personal level. This new USA Crossword puzzle book is much, much smaller. Maybe 5" X 7". At our age the book is too hard to manage. The picture in the ad seemed to be the same as my old book, but I guess I did not read the dimentions. Still the great challanging puzzles though.

Summary: "Very Good Puzzles But Not the New York Times Ones"
These are very good to do in the book. You can also do the new ones on a daily basis online and for free. However, the archiving of the puzzles is limited online for free. So the book provides you with a mighty dose of 200 all at once. The difference between Monday's puzzle and Friday's is not as dramatic as that seen in the New York Times. I can do all days of the week with USA Puzzles. They are challenging yet doable. They do get more difficult as the week goes on but it is very gradual. These are especially nice ones to play online. The interactive feature clues you when you make a mistake so you can catch yourself before you are too far astray. You can also turn this feature off if you want more of a challenge.
